MCPCR directs

IMPHAL, Nov 25 : The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) has directed the Commissioner, Home Department to submit a detailed report and reasons for restricting Licypriya Kangujam's ‘X’ and Facebook account on or before December 4.
As per an order issued by Keisam Pradipkumar, Chairperson, MCPCR, a case in this connection was registered by MCPCR after a complaint was submitted by the young climate activist's mother Kangujam Bidyarani Devi requesting MCPCR to lift the restriction on her daughter's social media accounts by the Chief Executive Officer, Meta India, Pasunath Capital Tower, Bhai Vir Singh Marg, Sector 4, Gole Market, New Delhi. MCPCR has fixed December 5 for further proceedings.
