Koireng-led UNLF condoles

IMPHAL, Nov 25 : The Koireng-led UNLF has condoled the demise of PREPAK Chairman Heikrujam Ngamdairen Khuman alias Ibotombi alias Oja Macha on November 19, 2024.
According to a statement issued by the outfit’s Central Committee, Chairman Ngamdairen Khuman alias Oja Ibotombi joined the revolutionary movement as early as 1969 and was imprisoned in Bangladesh.
He took key roles after the establishment of PREPAK in 1977 and he dedicated his life to the revolutionary movement, it said.
Oja Ibotombi was a rare leader who believed in a united front of revolutionary organisations.
He always kept his words and was capable of taking appropriate decisions as demanded by the existing situations.
He treated all comrades with love and always put the party’s and revolution’s interest before his personal interests.
He took part in many people’s movements and guided the movements apart from travelling to every corner and spreading the message of nationalism, it said.
The demise of Oja Ngamdairen Khuman is a big loss not only for PREPAK but also for the entire revolutionary movement.
The outfit also prayed that the departed soul may rest in the heavenly abode.
It further conveyed solidarity to PREPAK and the bereaved family.
