JAC endorses blockade call

IMPHAL, Nov 22 : The Jal Jeevan Mission-New Development Bank, Joint Action Committee (JJM-NDB, JAC) of Tousem Sub-Division has endorsed the indefinite economic blockade called by their associates in Noney along National-Highway 37.
The blockade is set to begin from 6 pm tomorrow (November 23).
The Committee, in a statement, said that they submitted a memorandum to the Government to clear the pending bills for workers engaged in Jal Jeevan Mission-New Development Bank on or before November 20.
Saying that the issue, however, hasn't been resolved as of yet, the Committee added that movement of vehicles will be severely affected during the blockade.
It also said that all National projects and other activities will be halted during the blockade.
