Justice Krishnakr takes oath as CJ

IMPHAL, Nov 22: Justice D Krishnakumar was today sworn in as the eighth Chief Justice of the High Court of Manipur.
Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office to Justice D Krishnakumar in the swearing-in ceremony held at the Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, said a press release issued by the Governor’s Secretariat.
Justice D Krishnakumar of Madras High Court was appointed as the Chief Justice of High Court of Manipur by the President of India on November 20, 2024 following the superannuation of the incumbent, Justice Siddharth Mridul.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly Th Satyabrata Singh, Cabinet Ministers, MP Rajya Sabha Sanajaoba Leishemba, MLAs, Judges of High Court of Manipur and subordinate Courts, top civil, police and military officers attended the swearing in ceremony.
