Paddy stacks found burnt

MOIRANG, Nov 21: Paddy stacks of one Lou Marak piled up for threshing have been found burnt at Chanambam Loukon, located along Chothe Road, not far away from Bishnupur Ward No 6.
It is suspected that the paddy stacks belonging to Ningthoujam Milan Meitei  s/o Ningthoujam Ibohal Meitei were burnt last night.
Meanwhile, the Youth Welfare Organisation and the local people, apart from expressing strong indignation against such acts of burning paddy stacks, have filed a report at Bishnupur police station.
The report urged police to book all the culprits involved in burning the paddy stacks.
