Haveine Samuel congratulated on winning medals at JKNSK India National Karate C'ships

Senapati, Nov 19: The Naga Students Union, Pune has congratulated Haveine Samuel on winning multiple medals at the VIII JKNSK India National Karate Championships held on November 17 at  Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex,  Pune in Maharashtra.
Haveine Samuel who hailed from Maiba village in Senapati district and is now a permanent resident of Pune, won the gold medal in kumite event and a bronze medal in Kata event. With the feat, Haveine Samuel, who is pursuing her BBA IT from Symbiosis College, Pune, also earned a chance to compete at the prestigious South Asia Karate Championship 2024 slated for December 27-29 this year in Faridabad, Delhi.
It may be mentioned that the South Asia Karate Championship, 2024  will be organised by Shito Ryu Karate School of India which is approved by NKF Karate Do Federation of India at Radisson Blu, Near Bata Chowk Metro Station, Main Road, Faridabad-Delhi Border (NCR), India.
The tournament is aimed at the all-round development and promotion of the individual and will be only for those having full knowledge of Karate rules where all participants should be members of SKSI. The accomplishment of Haveine Samuel, born to Samuel Hesho and Salome Samuel, has brought immense pride not only to her family but also to the Naga community, said the Naga Students Union, Pune while also wishing her success for her future competitions.
