Will approach Court, says hospital Director

IMPHAL, Nov 2 :  Dr M Dhanabir, Managing Director Diabetes Hospital and Research Centre located at Porompat, has said that he will send a legal notice to the DESAM president for giving a 'misleading statement' about him and the hospital.
Speaking to the media at the hospital today, Dr Dhanabir said that DESAM president M Somorjit threw 'unfounded charges' at him and the hospital and the same was unfortunate.
He said that a process is underway to register the hospital with the relevant authority. About the claim that he is a self declared doctor,    Dr Dhanabir said that the DESAM president should examine furthermore  whether he is a doctor or not and announce the finding within 20 days.
Dr Dhanabir said that he will send a legal notice to the DESAM president if he (Somorjit)  fails to  prove whether he is a doctor or not within the said period.
He also said  that he won't make  any comment about the issue during the 20 days
Claiming that there is delay in the registration of the hospital as there is a ban from an underground outfit, Dr Dhanabir said that they, nonetheless,  are planning to register the hospital after the Ningol Chakkouba festival.
DESAM  prying on the hospital instead of working for the wellbeing of students is  unfortunate, he added.
