Hosts Kha Manipur College clinch MU Inter College Men's Football title

IMPHAL, Nov 2 : Hosts Kha Manipur College were crowned the champions of the A Pratap Singh Memorial Manipur University Inter College Men's Football Tournament 2024-25 with a 3-0 final victory over Kakching Khunou College today.
In the final match of the 34-team tournament staged this afternoon at Kha Manipur College's playground in Kakching, Samir gave hosts a slender 1-0 first half lead with a clinical finish after 13 minutes before Rohit doubled the advantage after 50 minutes.
Kakching Khunou College kept struggling to reduce the gap but their efforts either went wide or parried away easily by Kha Manipur College's custodian.
To add to their misery, Romen scored two minutes into the stoppage time to set up the 3-0 win for the hosts.
