68th NSG U-17 Fencing Manipur girls win foil team gold

IMPHAL, Nov 17 : Manipur opened the 68th National School Games Fencing for U-17 years 2024-25 on a bright note as  the girls foil team won a gold medal.
The discipline of the games began today in Jammu and Kashmir under the aegis of the School Games Federation of India.
The girls team comprising T Mangaleibi, Maibam Geetarani, H Tonibia and L Thoithoi defeated CBSE 15-11 in the final to seal the gold medal today.
As many as  24 athletes are representing Manipur at the event that will continue till November 21.
