Wrestling trial on November 22

IMPHAL, Nov 15: The Manipur Wrestling Association is conducting State level trial for selection of wrestlers for Senior National Free Style, Greco Roman Style and Women Wrestling Championship for participation to the National Wrestling Championship, 2024 which has been scheduled to be held from December 6 to December 8 Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The trial will be held at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium/Sports Multi-purpose Hall, Bal Bhawan (NSA) on November 22 (Reporting time 7 am).
Free style- 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 79, 86, 92, 97 & 125 Kg
Greco Roman Style-55, 60, 63, 67, 72, 77, 82, 87, 97 & 130 Kg
Women Wrestlers-50, 53, 55, 57, 59, 62, 65, 68, 72 & 76 Kg
Documents to be produced/show at the time of trial--original date of birth certificate, original Aadhaar card, 4 Passport size photographs and original medical fitness certificate and parental certificate as 18 years (2006) & 19 years (2005)
Interested wrestlers who meet the criteria may submit their applications to M Somendro Singh (M No 9402261973), N Sanayaima Singh, Convenor (M No 8257886793) and Ch Anita Chanu (M No 9862100579), said the Manipur Wrestling Association.
