PLA attacks armed forces

IMPHAL, Nov 15: The proscribed RPF has claimed that its military wing PLA attacked a column of Indian armed forces in between Yangoupok and Maringthel of Kamjong district at around 10 am today.
On being contacted, the PRO of Assam Rifles stated that one Assam Rifles personnel was injured in the attack and added that the jawan is in stable condition. The PRO furher said that the shooting occured at a place in Tengnoupal district.
According to a press release issued by the outfit’s Assistant Secretary, Publicity Bangkim, the Indian armed forces suffered casualties in the PLA’s attack.
PLA fighters  and the Indian armed forces fought another round of battle at around 4.30 pm today as para commandos of the Indian armed forces moved in to the area.
As the PLA fighters outmanoeuvred the para commandos, they (para commandos) broke their formation and ran helter-skelter.
It is suspected that there were many casualties among the para commandos, it claimed.
On the other hand, all the PLA fighters have reached their camp safe and sound.
Asserting that the PLA would continue to fight until Manipur is liberated, the outfit appealed for support from all the people towards its liberation struggle.
