IMPHAL, Nov 15: Junior finswimmers won Manipur a gold and a silver on Day 1 of the 4th National Finswimming Championship Delhi 2024 today.
Pravesh Mathurabashi-mayum won the gold in the Bi-Fins 200 M Junior D category for boys.
Soram Pietersen won the silver in the Bi-Fins 200 M Junior E category for boys.
In the Junior D category, Pravesh Mathurabashimayum completed the Bi-Fins 200M in 01:57.59.
Delhi's Samiran Nath completed the distance in 2:05.13 and bagged silver.
Haryana's Devansh Raj Julka completed the distance in 02:10.10 to win bronze.
The fight for the gold in the Junior E Bi-Fins 200M was competitive.
Delhi's Virat won the gold by completing the Bi-Fins 200M in 02:10.78.
Manipur's Soram Pietersen completed the distance in 02:12.77 to secure silver.
West Bengal's Angshuman Nag completed the distance in 02:14.17 to win bronze.
The 4th National Finswimming Championship Delhi 2024 is being organised by the Underwater Sports Federation of India.
