Jiri organisations warn

JIRIBAM, Nov 14 : All Jiribam United Clubs Association (AJUCA), Jiri Development Organisation (JDO), COCOMI Jiribam, Apunba Jiribam Meira Paibi (AJMP), Jiri Ima Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (JIMPAL), AMSU, DESAM, KSA have announced a series of agitation in protest against the Government failure to meet the demand of the Jiri United Committee to deploy additional  State forces at Chotobekre outpost, Makhabosti, Jirimuk. H Priyananda, convenor of Jiri United Committee, said a candle light protest will be held today at Jana Neta Irabot Memorial Complex, Babupara and urged the people of Jiribam to observe candle light protest  at 6 pm.
On November 15, a meira rally will be held and a 48 hour general strike will be called from November 16, said Priyananda. The CSOs of Jiribam also boycotted Jiribam MLA Md Ashab Uddin for his inability to take responsibility, said the JUC.
