IMPHAL, Nov 14: BJP State unit president A Sarda has appealed for safe release of six abducted by Kuki militants.
Speaking to reporters at the office of the BJP at Nityaipat Chuthek, Sarda said that the women and children are innocent and they should be released safely.
Sarda said she condemns the spat of violence that has taken place since the last few days.
She said amid the conflict, the party has urged the Centre, Union Home Minister to safeguard lives of innocent people.
Sarda said she has also met the Governor and submitted a report on the conflict.
She said "the party is always in contact with the Home Minister."
