IMPHAL, Nov 13 : The Kabui Civil Society Organizations have extended profound gratitude and appreciation to author Star Kamei, a cultural custodian and theatre luminary on the release of his latest work "Kabui Custom 1947."

The Kabui Union, Manipur in a release stated that the publication marks a significant milestone as the first documented record of Kabui customs, compiled from the invaluable knowledge of Kabui elders and will serve as a bridge connecting the community with the wisdom and practices passed down through generations.
Speaking at the event, Star Kamei emphasized the necessity of preserving the customs, which have long been transmitted orally across Kabui villages.
