MU Inter College Yogasana Tournament Y Roshan, Sh Babyrose win men and women's traditional event titles

IMPHAL, Nov 12 : Yeng-khom Roshan of Kha Manipur College and Sh Babyrose of Standard College emerged winners of the individual traditional event in the Arambam Ibomcha Memorial MU Inter College Yogasana Tournament for Men, 2024-25 and Arambam Ongbi Rupabati Memorial MU Inter College Yogasana Tournament for Women, 2024-25.
The tournaments were hosted by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Imphal at Akampat yesterday.
The tournaments saw athletes across the men (participated by 5 colleges) and women sections (participated by 7 colleges), compete in -Traditional, Rhythmic and Group events.
In the men's traditional event competition, Roshan of Kha Manipur College sealed the top place as compatriot Moirangthem Malemnganba finished runner up.
Shivananda Thiyam of Naorem Birahari College meanwhile secured the Rhythmic event title as Manipur University and Naorem Birahari College emerged winners and runners up in the group competition.
Sh Babyrose in the meantime claimed the women's individual title in the traditional event as Angom Susmilia of Imphal College finished runner up.
Jenifer Thongam of TS Paul Manipur Women's College finished on top in the Rhythmic event as Thounaojam Sanathoi of Naorem Birahari College finished runner up.
The women's group competition title went to hosts NIELIT while Naorem Birahari College settled for the runners up title.
