Woman found dead

IMPHAL, Nov 11 : A woman was found hung to death inside a fabricated house located at Sawombung.
The deceased has been identified as Amusana Thiyam, aged 63 years w/o Ibohanbi Thiyam of Leitanpokpi Maning Leikai.
She took shelter at the Sawombung relief camp, since October 2023 after being displaced from Leitanpokpi and has been living with her husband, son and a grand daughter.
Family members said that the woman was found hng to death while her husband had left the camp to pick up their grand daughter from school and her son was out of station for work.
A case has been registered.
