IMPHAL, Oct 31 : Governor of Manipur, Lakshman Prasad Acharya along with officers and staff of Governor's secretariat paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, nation's first Home Minister who work relentlessly for the unity and integrity of India, on his birth anniversary - National Unity Day at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Imphal, said in a release issued.
The Governor also extended heartfelt wishes to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, emphasizing that the festival of lights symbolizes the triumph of knowledge over ignorance.
