Minor girl rescued

IMPHAL, Oct 31 : A team of Thoubal district police today rescued a missing minor girl from Jasai, Navi Mumbai with the assistance of Mumbai Police.
The accused abductor who identified himself as one Laishram Sanathoi Singh (25) s/o L Birmani Singh of Jiri Dibong Khunou has also been arrested. The real identity of the abductor has however been found to be one Abdul Mannaf Choudhury s/o Abdul Zabbar of Jirighat Bagicha Part-I.
It is said that medical examination of the minor girl would be conducted soon.
After obtaining a transit remand from the Magistrate concerned and the BCAS permission for transporting the accused, the police team will return to Manipur for further necessary legal procedures, sources said.
