Gun recovered

IMPHAL, Oct 8: Ukhrul police have recovered 19 of the 20 weapons looted from its police station amid the October 2 clash between villages with another AK Rifles being recovered today.
The recovered AK Rifle was put on display at the Ukhrul police station.
Only one Pistol is missing. The police are conducting search operations to find the last missing weapon, said sources.
Notably, 20 weapons were looted from the Ukhrul police station by mobs after a clash erupted at the district Headquarters on October 2.
The clash erupted between Hunpung and Ukhrul/Hunphun over a land dispute.
The clash killed 4 persons and injured dozens.
