IMPHAL, Oct 9: The proscribed PREPAK(Pro) has offered revolutionary salute to all those who had sacrificed their lives while safeguarding the motherland in the prevailing conflict.
A statement issued by PREPAK(Pro) Chairman Longjam Paliba M on the occasion of the Red Army’s 48th raising day (October 9) conveyed that the party shares the grief and sorrow of those families who suffered injuries, harm, and whose loved ones are missing during this unfortunate crisis.
Paliba also expressed his gratitude to those brave volunteers and women who are defending ‘our motherland’ in these woeful days.
The colonialist masters mainly the British played the infamous ‘The Great Game’, for dominating Asian countries, which was later imitated by Jawaharlal Nehru in his “The Forward Policy to expand India”, and eventually the ‘Akhand Bharat: Greater India’ objective of BJP are all implicitly indicated in the Article 2 of Indian Constitution, according to Chairman  Paliba’s statement.
It alleged that the Government of India has been scheming to fragment the Meiteis in order to replace them by their partner in crime, such as narcotized Kuki conglomerate.
India has been openly supporting the Kuki terrorists politically, along with war materials and money. Mobilizing such a proxy army means using them to attack Meiteis and interfere in the internal affairs of neighbouring countries, it alleged.
India is like the eight long-armed Octopus. The hegemonistic India’s eight hands interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, it alleged.
Alleging that the Meiteis are being subjected to abuse and humiliation throughout the expansionist policy of every Indian Government, it said that the Indian leaders are maliciously addicted to enervating the Meitei community as a whole.
Challenging India’s nefarious policy means the people of Manipur must prepare for a big battle as there is no alternative way.
“We must know that Meiteis were driven out suddenly from their ancestral homes by guns and bombs without any reason, although there was no conflict with Kukis before.
“Therefore, there is no way for Meiteis except to fight back to the fullest”, read the Chairman’s statement.
During these 17-month unending conflict, Meitei have become the most unfortunate community, suffering mentally and economically, and perplexed by the Government of India’s schemes and their possible outcomes, it said.
“Now, we must avoid skirmishes with each other at such a critical stage. Our main priority is to obtain war materials that will allow us to fight successfully with an adaptable strategy”, Paliba asserted.
He then appealed to all the people of Kangleipak to fight the ongoing conflict with the same level of determination as ‘our forefathers’ as the present conflict is becoming an integral part of the National liberation struggle.
