Thang-Ta Day to be observed

IMPHAL, Oct 8
The Kanglei Indigenous Martial Arts and Cultural Society (KIMACS) in collaboration with Thang-Ta Observation Committee will be observing the Martial Art Mega Thang-Ta Day on October 15, 2024 to preserve and promote Thang-Ta, an indigenous martial art form of Manipur.
Addressing a press conference today at KIMACS office in Palace Compound, KIMACS vice president B Bilki appealed to all the people, civil society organisations and students to participate in the Martial Art Mega Thang-Ta Day which will be held at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium on October 15.
He also shared that preparations have been made to organise a Mega Thang-Ta Demonstration with the participation of more than 3000 students.
