Planning Department invites applications

IMPHAL, Oct 8: The Planning Department, Government of Manipur, has invited applications from eligible entrepreneurs owning already established businesses in Manipur who wish to expand their business in the State for financial support upto Rs 10 lakh under Chief Ministers Entrepreneurship Support Scheme (CMESS) during current Financial Year 2024-25. According to a release issued by the Director, Planning Department, the targeted number of beneficiaries under Phase-I is 5000. The Department has shortlisted 17 number of sample projects within project cost of Rs 10 Lakh. The funding pattern is 65% loan, 30% subsidy and 5% margin money. Loan is collateral free covered under CGTMSE / Manipur Credit Guarantee Scheme (MCGS). Sample of the 17 Projects are also available in the web- site of Manipur Startup Scheme for reference. Applicants may choose a suitable trade /project relating to their ongoing business/trade. Applicants, who have already submitted their application for availing subsidy and loan under CMESS and not yet interviewed till date may also re-apply by choosing suitable project from project sample available in the web-site of Manipur Startup Scheme. Priority of the beneficiaries will be given to IDPs and Person with Disabilities (PWD) in Manipur. Online registration will open from October 10, 2024 onwards at "https://startupmanipur.in".
