Manipur amass 9 medals including three gold at 2nd ASMTA Taekwondo League

IMPHAL, Oct 5 : Manipur have won as many as 9 medals including three gold, two silver and four bronze medals at the 2nd ASMTA Taekwondo League being hosted at Khelo India Stadium, Itanagar since October 3.
Phurailatpam Gharluxmi (junior U-63 kg), Kongbrailatpam Konika Sharma (junior U-46 kg) and Luckysana Konthoujam (junior U-59 kg) won Kyorugi gold medals for Manipur at the competition as Lingjelsana Ningthemcha (junior U-55 kg) and Kharibam Chanchan (senior U-57 kg) and Moirangthem Henthoibi (junior U-44 kg) bagged silver medals in the respective weight categories.
Yensembam Abesana Chanu (Junior +68 kg), Khwairakpam Quana (junior U-55 kg), Moirangthem Henthoibi Chanu (junior U-44 kg) also won bronze medals in the Kyorugi event as Khwairakpam Linthoi bagged the same medal in the senior individual poomsae event.
