Diwali greetings

IMPHAL, Oct 30 : Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Th Satyabrata Singh has extended his greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Diwali.
In his message, Th Satyabrata Singh said that "Diwali" is a festival with a significance for the Hindus.
He added "the festival symbolises the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, right over wrong, good over evil, hope over despair; an awakening which brings compassion and awareness of oneness of all things." He also prayed for Diwali, the festival of light illuminate each and every individual of society with knowledge, compassion and oneness.
