Candlelight vigil held

IMPHAL, Oct 29 : Womenfolk of Thangmeiband held a candlelight vigil at New Assembly Road near Dhana- manjuri University Gate today in honour of the three cadres of PLA and PREPAK (Pro) who died during a gunfight with KNF-B on Oct 23.
PLA captain Oinam Gulu alias Babu s/o Oinam Kunjo and Oinam (ongbi) Pishak of Jiribam Kadamtala, PREPAK (Pro)'s Red Army captain Wahengbam Sopai-ba alias Saratkumar s/o Wahengbam Deva and W (ongbi) Memcha of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai and lance corporal Nongmaithem Nongdol alias Bonisana s/o N Raju and N (ongbi) Sangita of Wangkhei Angom Leikai were killed in the exchange of fire.
