PHAM greets Sushila, Bichu on making National squad

IMPHAL, Oct 29 : Posterior Hockey Academy Manipur (PHAM) has congratulated former Indian women's hockey captain Pukhrambam Sushila and Asian Games bronze medallists Kharibam Bichu on making it to the National squad for Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2024.
PHAM is extremely happy to see Sushila and Bichu, who were a part of the academy during their formative stage, finding their names in the National squad for the continental competition, it said.
Notably, Indian hockey star and Arjuna awardee Sushila is the daughter of P Shyamsunder and P (o) Lata Devi of Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai and Bichu is the daughter of Kh Romen and Kh (o) Ibemma of Charangpat Maning Leikai, Thoubal district.
May both the players help defending champions India retain the title at the championship, PHAM wished.
