ZNCM opposes

IMPHAL, Oct 29: The Zeme Naga Council Manipur (ZNCM) has expressed strong opposition to the recent resolution taken by the Hill Areas Committee (HAC) on October 14 which proposed formation of temporary committees for each ADC. Saying that the particular resolution undermines the rights of hill people guaranteed by Article 371C of the Constitution, a press release issued by ZNCM urged the HAC to withdraw the same resolution. It also termed the particular resolution as anti-tribal and unconstitutional.
