Valedictory function held

IMPHAL, Oct 29: The 7-day residential skill development training programme on food processing and value addition for women of hill districts, organised by the Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC), has concluded today.
State Secretary (S&T) Hungyo Worshang, Joint Secretary (S&T) Chingakham Sachi, Instructor T Sanajaobana and MASTEC Director Dr L Minaketan attended the concluding programme today.
At the event, Senior Scientific Officer Dr Kh Rakesh said that the training was organised to assist women of hill districts to employ themselves and earn income.
25 women from Ukhrul, Kamjong, Senapati etc took part in the training programme. During the programme, the women learnt the know-how of making as many as 36 products including pickles.
