RIMS clarifies

IMPHAL, Oct 28: Taking serious note of a fake notification dated September 23, 2024 which is being circulated on social media and claims that an interview was conducted for regular posts in the Department of Microbiology including Assistant Professor, Lab Technician, LDC, PMR, Gynaecology, ECG and DEXA roles with alleged selection of around 53 suitable candidates, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Imphal has clarified that the particular notification is fabricated and no such recruitment process or selection has taken place for these posts.
A press release issued by RIMS Media Cell said that the fake notification is not related to RIMS authority.
It also advised all to disregard the fake notification and rely only on official RIMS announcements for accurate updates at RIMS website www.rims.edu.in and newspapers.
“We are investigating the source of this misinformation and fake news, and strict legal action will be taken against individuals responsible for its circulation”, it added.
