Arts Society Manipur celebrates Artist Day

IMPHAL, Oct 25 : As observed across the globe, Arts Society Manipur celebrated Artist Day at its office complex in Wangkhei Ningthempukhri Mapal today.
Artist Day is celebrated on October 25 every year to recognise and honour the contributions of artists across various disciplines, including visual arts, music, dance, literature, and performance.
It was attended by S Joychandra Sharma, Senior Lecturer (retired), Imphal Art College and Th Debendra Singh, president, Arts Society Manipur as presidium members.
During the event, floral tributes were offered to the deceased members of Arts Society Manipur.
Felicitation of three prominent artists namely S Joychandra Sharma, Hemba Tensuba and Ch Premananda Roy was the main highlight of the event.
