Pambei-led UNLF mourns

IMPHAL, Oct 25 : The Pambei-led UNLF and its armed wing MPA have mourned the demise of three revolutionary fighters in a gun battle at the border between Manipur and Myanmar on October 23.
The Pambei-led UNLF and its armed wing MPA have also offered revolutionary salute to PLA Captain Oinam Gulu alias Babu s/o O Kunjo and Pishak of Jiribam Kadamtala, PREPAK (Pro)’s Captain Wahengbam Sopaiba alias Saratkumar s/o Deba and Memcha of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai and Lance Corporal Nongmaithem Nongdon alias Boneysana s/o Raju and Sangita of Wangkhei Angom Leikai.
The way the three revolutionary fighters fought till their last breath for the cause of the motherland will serve as a defining example  of the real character of the freedom movements of Manipur and WESEA, and the indomitable spirit of the freedom fighters, the outfit asserted in a press release issued by its Media Coordinator Charairongba Thok- chom.
Saying that the valour and sacrifice of the three revolutionary fighters will be remembered forever, the Pambei-led UNLF also shared the pain and sorrow being endured by the bereaved families, relatives and friends.
