Bank Manager granted bail

IMPHAL, Oct 21: The Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal West has ordered the release of Bank of Baroda, MU branch Senior Branch Manager Ningombam Ganga on her execution of Rs 2 lakh PR bond and surety of the same amount in connection with the looting of gold worth more than Rs 4 crore from the locker/safe of the bank by unknown persons on September 12 at around 1.41 am.
The bail application filed by Senior Branch Manager Ningombam Ganga (41) w/o N Johnson Singh of Kakching Makha Leikai was listed for hearing before the Court today. The Court, after hearing the submission of the APP and the defence counsel, passed an order for release of  Ningombam Ganga on her execution of Rs 2 lakh PR bond and surety of the same amount and on the condition that she should appear before the Singjamei police station every day without fail, shall not hamper or tamper the prosecution witnesses/evidences and shall not leave the State without prior permission of the Court.
