PAMYAL edge YAC 3-2 on penalties to seal fifth place

IMPHAL, Oct 20 : PAMYAL, Patsoi sealed the fifth place in the 29th L Sangita Devi Memorial 1st Division Football League organised by the Imphal West District Football Association at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi.
In the clash of 3 placed teams after group stage, YAC, Yaiskul and PAMYAL, Patsoi played out a 1-1 draw in the regulation time and eventually the winners was decided via penalty shoot-out wherein PAMYAL edged YAC 3-2 to seal the game 4-3.
YAC enjoyed an early lead in the regulation time with Alibas finding the target in the 10th minute but Sanathoi scored late in the 76th minute to keep PAMYAL alive in the contest for 5th and 6th places of the 8-team league tournament. After the 1-1 stalemate in the regulation time, Sanathoi, Jotin and Ronaljit scored in the shoot-out while only Gulyvictor and Ronaldo found the target for YAC.
