AMIMYDO seal Junior and Mini boys' State Level Volleyball titles

IMPHAL, Oct 20 : AMIMYDO, Mayang Imphal were crowned champions of both the 44th Junior Boys and 23rd Mini Boys' State Level Volleyball Tournaments organised by the All Manipur Volleyball Association at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
In the Mini Boys' final staged today, AMIMYDO defeated NYVA, Naorem by 3-1 sets (25-17, 25-19, 27-29, 25-18) after dropping the third set to their rivals, to clinch the cash award of Rs 5,000. Runners up, NYVA were feted with a cash prize of Rs 3,000.
MM Sahinoor and Bogimayum Sajad of AMIMYDO were also adjudged best setter and best player of the tournament as Sojenzar Longjam of NYVA was adjudged best spiker.
Meanwhile in the Junior Boys' final, AMIDYO prevailed 25-14, 25-12, 25-20 over DVA Thoubal to earn the cash reward of Rs 5,000. DVA Thoubal meanwhile settled for the cash prize of Rs 3,000. K Abinash, Hassan Buya and Anish Singh of AMIMYDO were also adjudged best setter, best spiker and best player of the tournament.
