SDC thump YUC 3-1 for fifth straight victory, top IW Super Division League

IMPHAL, Oct 19 : SDC, Samurou sealed the title of the 24th Super Division Football League 2024 organised by the Imphal West District Football Association at PAMYAL ground as they thumped YUC, Irom Meijrao by 3-1 goals for the fifth straight victory today.
SDC, having won four games on the trot, dominated the earlier proceedings of the game and banged in all three goals for the team within 19 minutes to enjoy a comfortable lead.
It was Abungsana who opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Kishan doubled the advantage three minutes later and Jack found the team's third in the 19th minute.
Ch Premjit scored the consolation goal for YUC in the 50th minute.
Later in the day, KYC-N, Khurkhul North played out a 1-1 draw with SFC, Tera.
Thanshokmi gave SFC an early 7th minute lead but L Rishikanta scored the equaliser for KYC-N in the 15th minute. Things remained unchanged despite both the sides getting a fair share of chances in the later part of the game.
