Ziontlang YDC post second straight win

IMPHAL, Oct 18 : Ziontlang YDC secured second straight Group A league campaign win in the ongoing DC Chandel Trophy 1st Division Football League by defeating Khongjon YC by 2-1 goals today at Ziontlang ground.
Franklyn scored both the goals for ZDYC (33', 60') after Koborson Roel (6') hit the opener to give Khongjon YC an early lead.
Later in the day, Japhou YC beat Liwa Khullen YC 2-0 thanks to goals from D Renghon (28') and Changhingam (70').
Purum Tampak SC, Penaching YC win
Purum Tampak SC and Penaching YC registered victories in the ongoing DC Chandel Trophy Second Division Football Tournament at Ziontlang ground.
Kenneth (25') and Shangdam (65') were on target as Purum Tampak SC won 2-0 against Liwa Sarei YC in the group B opener.
Later in the day, Alpha scored in the 63rd minute to hand Penaching YC a 1-0 win over Monsang Pantha YCC.
