Albhapati, Yohenba win Jr Individual Olympic Round of State Archery Championships

IMPHAL, Oct 17: H Albhapati Devi and L Yohenba Singh have emerged champions of the State Archery Championships in the Junior category of the Individual Olympic Round for women and men respectively.
H Albhapati Devi of SAIRC scored 138, one score more than Senyai Thongam of BAA to rank 1st in the Junior Individual Olympic Round Compound Women.
L Yohenba Singh of SAIRC scored 147 beating 2nd place K Punanda of AAA Unit to rank 1st in the Individual Olympic Round Compound for men.
The 35th Sub-Junior, 36th Junior and 34th Senior (Men & Women) State Archery Championships are underway at RCC Ground, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal.
The championships which kicked off on October 12 will continue till October 22.

1st: L Yohenba Singh, Y Rojit Meitei, H Teuton Khuman and Olen Longjam of SAIRC scored 230 points
2nd: S Johnson Singh, C Malemnganba, E Lamnganba Singh and Ranel Takhellambam of SAC scored 221 points
3rd: Ng Pradip, RK Priyobrata, Winson Soibam and Ng Lamnganba of UAC scored 222 points
