Lamphel PS bags Best Station Award

IMPHAL, Oct 17 : Lamphel police station has been awarded the DGP Manipur Trophy for Best Police Station Award 2024 while Sub Inspectors L Sarjubala (of Bishnupur women police station) and Vashum Meena (of Ukhrul women police station) have been conferred the Best Police Officer Award 2024.
An order issued by DGP Rajiv Singh said that the awards were conferred based on the recommendation of the screening committee constituted on September 14, 2024 for inspection of police stations sponsored by the District Superintendents of Police.
While Lamphel police station won the Best Police Station Award, the title of the Second Best Police Station was given to Jiribam police station and Churachandpur women police station.
Patsoi police station and Bishnupur police station, on the other hand, were conferred the 3rd Best Police Station Award 2024.
Sub Inspector L Sarjubala Devi of Bishnupur women police station and Sub Inspector Vashum Meena of Ukhrul women police station are the joint winners of the DGP Award for Best Police Officer 2024
The trophies, commendation certificates and cash award will be given to the award winners on the occasion of Manipur Police Raising Day to be held on October 19.
