SDC blank KYN 3-0 for fourth straight victory in IW Super Division Football League

IMPHAL, Oct 16 : SDC, Samurou prevailed 3-0 over KYC, Khurkhul North for the fourth straight victory in the 6-team 24th Super Division Football League 2024.
Coming off three back to back wins, confident SFC started strongly and went into the break with a 2-0 lead before adding another in the late period to seal the game 3-0.
H Rakesh opened the scoring for the team in the 13th minute before A Ningthouba doubled the advantage in the 35th minute.
Having conceded two goals in the opening half, KYC-N bolstered their defence set up and thwarted SDC pressure until Aimson Athokpam breach through for one last time late in the 84th minute and netted the decisive goal 6 minutes away from time.
