Manipur bag 2 gold and 4 silver at Goa Powerlifting Nationals

IMPHAL, Oct 16 : Manipur team have amassed 6 classic competition medals including 2 gold and four silver at the 33rd National Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior and Masters Men and Women Classic and Equipped Benchpress Championship 2024 hosted by Goa since October 14.
The gold medallists include Irom Indrani Devi who lifted 35 kg in the 47 kg Master 3 classic competition for women and Takhelchangbam Ibemhal who lifted 30 kg in the 65 kg women's Masters 3 event.
The silver medallists in the meantime include Kayenpaibam Velena, who lifted 45 kg in the 43 kg sub-junior girls competition; Soraisham Ibetombi, who lifted 30 kg in the 53 kg women's Masters 3 competition; Oinam Bimola who lifted 30 kg in 57 kg women's Masters 3 competition and Hanjabam Hritikraj Sharma who lifted 145 kg in the junior men's 45 kg category competition. The competition will run till October 20.
