CM greets

IMPHAL, Oct 16 : The Chief Minister N Biren Singh has extended his greetings to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Mera Hou Chongba.
In his message, N Biren Singh said that Mera Hou Chongba  which falls on the full-moon day of the lunar month of Mera, is celebrated to foster and promote unity in diversity and a prosperous Manipuri society.
He added that the festival holds much significance today, when the collective society is warding off divisive forces inciting ill-will and enmity amongst the people. May this festival of oneness, open a new chapter of reconciliation and peaceful co-existence, prayed the Chief Minister.
He also prayed for the Mera Hou Chongba to bring peace in the State.
