The ACOAM-Lup, Kangleipak has said that it will not celebrate Mera Hou Chongba this year which falls on the 15th day of Mera month in the Meitei lunar calendar.
Considering the more than a year long crisis in the State, the festival which signifies the integrity and eternal bonding of the hill and valley people, will be held in a toned down manner with only cultural and religious activities, it said.
