MAKKA to conduct State Jr teams trial, mourns demise of M Arun

IMPHAL, Oct 15 : The Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association (MAKKA) will be conducting State junior boys and girls' teams trials on October 20 at BASU ground and Khangabok Higher Secondary School ground.
The selected players will represent Manipur at the 43rd Junior National Kho-Kho Championships due to be held from October 17 to 21 in Ajmer, Uttar Pradesh.
Affiliated units may send players for the trial along with photostat copies of Aadhaar card and UID number provided by KKFI, said MAKKA in a statement.
MAKKA also went on to condole the demise of the assistant secretary of the association, Mayanglambam Arun of Kakching on October 12.
The executive council of MAKKA gathered in a condolence meeting held this morning.
His demise is a great loss to the association and Kho-Kho lovers in the State, said general secretary of the association, M Madhusudon during the condolence meeting, it added.
