ADC Chandel Trophy Super Division League begins

IMPHAL, Oct 15 : ADC Chandel Trophy Super Division League 2024-25 kicked off today at Ziontlang ground under the aegis of the District Sports Association Chandel with 6-teams participating in it.
The opening day saw both the matches end in draws.
The opening match between United Chandel FC and Lambung YCC ended in a goalless draw while the second match between Chandel Khullen and Kapaam DC culminated in a 1-1 draw.
Kapaam DC and Chandel Khullen started competitively and entered into the break goalless before Ringshangam put Kapaam DC ahead in the 54th minute. The lead was cancelled the very next minute with Beniwar scoring the equaliser.
With the game being open again, the two sides toiled hard to go ahead but their efforts failed to yield result and eventually ended up sharing a point apiece.
Hnahringkhu YC will play Chumbang FC in the third match tomorrow afternoon from 12.30 pm at the same venue.
