MU Inter College Kabaddi Tournament Mayai Lambi College, Pole Star College crowned men and women's champions

IMPHAL, Oct 13 : Mayai Lambi College, Pole Star College emerged men and women's champions in the Manipur University (MU) Inter College Kabaddi (M&W) Tournament hosted by Pole Star College, Wabagai Hiyanglam under the supervision of the Manipur University Sports Committee.
Hosts Pole Star secured the women's title beating SK Women's College by 45-36 margin today.
Earlier in the day, Pole Star secured the final berth with a 48-13 win over Waikhom Mani Girls' College after SK Women's College booked their place in the final by defeating Lilong Haoreibi College 40-14 in the first semi-final match.
L Morambi of Pole Star College was adjudged best player of the women's tournament.
Meanwhile, Mayai Lambi College beat Lilong Haoreibi College 38-29 to earn the men's tournament title.
Earlier in the semi-final matches, Lilong Haoreibi College beat Pole Star College 36-20 and Mayai Lambi College beat Manipur University 54-19 to complete the final line up.
M Manson of Mayai Lambi College was adjudged best player of the 8-team tournament.
