Bomb threat

IMPHAL, Oct 13 : Unidentified persons lobbed a hand grenade at the residence of Doctor Leishangthem Sunilkumar at Lilong Chajing under Singjamei police station today at around 7.30 am.
Dr Sunilkumar works at RIMS (Medicine).
A team of Imphal West police and Singjamei police rushed to the spot and cordoned the area off shortly after the bomb was lobbed.
The hand grenade was safely picked up by bomb experts later.
A case has been registered at Singjamei police station.
Condemning the bomb attack, locals of Lilong Chajing staged a sit in protest in the evening.
