State Level Archery Championship begins

IMPHAL, Oct 12 : The State Level Senior, Junior and Sub-Junior Archery Championship commenced today at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex under the aegis of the Manipur Archery Association.
The opening day saw archers compete in recurve events.
Y Anupama of SAI-RC was able to win the women's individual recurve title beating L Omila Grace of GAC 6-0 as T Sen Meitei of ARAC won the men's individual title beating N Parithoi of BCAC 6-0 in the final.
SAI-RC team of Th Shwasita, Y Anupama, L Rabina and Villennia Thokchom also topped the women's team recurve title by getting better of NSA 6-2 as L Yuhenba, Md Amir Arshad Khan and L Nelson of the same unit sealed the men's team title beating ARAC 5-3.
