Smuggling bid foiled

IMPHAL, Oct 11: The Assam Rifles conducted an anti-smuggling operation along the Indo-Myanmar border in Khudengthabi, Tengnoupal district on October 9 and seized a large quantity of smuggled cigarettes.
During the operation, the troops of the Assam Rifles seized 32 cartons containing 15,400 packets of WIN cigarettes, worth around Rs 10,40,000.
