Free eye check-up camp conducted

Imphal, Oct 11
Lions Club of Imphal Greater in collaboration with Vision Plus Eye Hospital, RIMS Road organised a free eye check-up camp on the occasion of World Sight Day, 2024 yesterday.
During the camp, 124 persons were examined for cataract and other eye related problems.
All the necessary arrangements for the camp were done by Dr K Romen Singh, Chairperson of the project and Managing Director of Vision Plus Eye Hospital.
On October 9, 2024, Lions Club of Imphal Greater and Lions Club of Imphal Excellence also jointly organised an Awareness Programme on Childhood Paediatric Cancer at St Anthony School, Imphal under the leadership of Dr James Elangbam.
Meenakshi, Associate Professor of SHRI attended the programme as the guest speaker.
